“American and West European Textual Study Theory and Practice in Relation to the Publishing of Panteleimon Kulish’s Complete Works and Taras Shevchenko’s Poetry”
Fedoruk’s aim is to study English language textual theory and practice in literature in relation to the works of Kulish (in particular, his novel The Black Council) and the poetry of Shevchenko. Fedoruk observes that in many cases today the theory of modern Ukrainian textual studies is based primarily on the experience of Russian scholarship while the textual criticism of English language scholars is almost unknown in Ukrainian literary studies.
