“Urban Life on the Edge of Europe: Social and Ethno-Cultural Interaction in Early Modern Lviv”
Orest Zayats is Senior Researcher at the M.S. Hrushevsky Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. He received his candidate of historical sciences degree (2006) from the Ivan Franko national University of Lviv. His proposed research project is “Urban Life on the Edge of Europe: Social and Ethno-Cultural Interaction in Early Modern Lviv.” His research interests include late medieval and early modern history of Central and Eastern Europe, urban and social history.
