Dr. Laas, Research Fellow, Institute of Ukrainian History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Her main field of interest is contemporary American historiography of the former Soviet Union and former Communist countries of Eastern Europe, with a focus on gender studies, history of emotions, politics of othering and the making of Soviet identities.
